Food Glorious Food!

One of the many perks of David’s job is his ability to get free tickets to different events around town. So far, we have been to the Carrie Underwood concert, FSU football/baseball games and other charitable events around town. Last night we went to the 26th Annual Chefs’ Sampler benefiting the Children’s Home Society of Florida. We had never even heard of this event before so we weren’t sure what to expect, but it was great. The event was held at the Tallahassee Mall and ton of different restaurants from around town filled the place with TOO.MUCH.FOOD.

*iphone pics ahead and it was kind of dark so sorry for the bad quality*

David with Dan from Tallahassee Magazine. He gave us the tickets so thanks Dan!

We actually had a big lunch after church with our friends, Katie and Jeremie, so we weren’t super hungry but we ate anyways…

We had smoothies from Tropical Smoothie

I of course had a Krispy Kreme doughnut (inner fat kid!!!)

We had tacos from Tijuana Flats

Fondue from Melting Pot

Gormet Popcorn from Peterbrooke

And a bunch of stuff I didn’t get pictures of… pasta, chips and queso, steak and mashed potatoes and a million other desserts. The one thing we forgot to go back for was a crab cake for David. He wanted one as an ode to Wedding Crashers. He was probably too full to eat it anyways. We left when we were too full to eat anything else, but we had a lot of fun and can’t wait to go again next year.

I’m a twenty-something wannabe city girl living in Tallahassee, FL with my husband and high school sweetheart, David, and our girls, Kennedy and Reese. I'm a financial analyst, much better with numbers than words, but this is my attempt at recording this wonderful, crazy life of ours.
