I Used To Say…

… my baby would NEVER sleep in my bed.

False. It’s my favorite thing EVER to cuddle with her in my bed.

Photobucket

… my baby would sleep in our room for MAYBE 2 weeks and possibly sleep in her room right from the start.

False. I love having her so close and it’s SO much easier to feed her if she wakes up at night. At this point, I think I’ll wait until we’re past the dreaded (but expected) 4 month sleep REGRESSION, that I’m so excited to experience, before moving her.

~

… my baby would always be dressed and accessorized.

So true. She is my real-life, baby-doll and I LOVE dressing her up!

Photobucket

… my baby would NEVER wear anything with words on it.

True… with a few exceptions (gifts and anything Florida State). It’s just not my style… and I’m super picky about her clothes. This is not to be confused with having her name or monogram on something which I totally love and have a few of.

~

… that I’d cloth diaper.

True. Loving it.

Photobucket

… my baby won’t drink a drop of formula.

So far, true. It’ll continue to be true… unless something happens and I physically can’t do it anymore.

~

… I’m not having kids.

False. So wrong. Can’t wait to have another one (there will be waiting).

Photobucket

… I only want 2 kids so we’re not outnumbered.

False. 3 sounds really good to me right now…

Oh, what a difference a baby makes ❤

  1. She looks so beautiful in pink with the pink behind her. These are such cute photos. This post is so cute and so very true for most of us. I really like how you wrote this , so cute. My babies were always snuggled in our bed for a long time only because Mommy didn’t want it to end. HA
