Pinterest Pretzels (Auntie Anne’s Copycat Recipe)

I make myself hate pumping a little less by browsing Pinterest and then I see these amazing things and I.HAVE.TO.MAKE.THEM. So, when I found a pin for these pretzels I sent my sister a text message…

We started making these pretzels and I said, “yeast scares me” because it just seems so easily disturbed – a recipe ruiner. Anyways, we make the dough… except we were talking the whole time and apparently neither of us was counting.

(not the look we were going for…the dough rose fine so I guess I should have been more scared of the flour)

So we added more flour until it was CLOSER to the consistency we were looking for, but still not quite right. We ended up with sticky dough and some really interesting looking pretzels.

  1. I give you all the credit for trying I just keep pinning and have all the intentions of trying to do some of these things that look so easy and never try it. You always hear looks aren’t everything it is the taste that counts. They sure look yummy. I have tried to make donuts a few times and they never come out. I give up and buy mine.
