My First IKEA Experience

Up until about 2 weeks ago I had never been to or owned anything from IKEA… (Insert your I’m-so-shocked comment here)

Well, in my search for a high chair for Kennedy I started seeing people using IKEA high chairs and really liking them. I checked out the website and while I liked them, I wanted to see them in person.

They just so happen to have a store in Orlando, so I went with my mom.

Kennedy checked out the high chair, but it was out of stock.

I have 4 comments and a story:

-The place is maze
-I’m pretty sure I could decorate my whole house with stuff I fell in love with there.
-I’d like one in Tallahassee
– I ate Swedish meatballs from a/at a furniture store

The story goes like this. My mom was pushing the cart and I was pushing Kennedy’s stroller. I was holding Kennedy to give her a break from the stroller and apparently since she wasn’t in it I no longer cared where the stroller {with my purse} was. We got to the end of the maze and my mom said, “where’s the stroller” and I had NO CLUE. So my mom went running, RUNNING, through the maze to try and find it. She came back about 15 minutes later or so laughing at me. Not only did I randomly leave it in the lighting section half-a-maze back, I left it in the middle of the walkway! Not even near an item where I could have just gotten distracted by what I was looking at! It was like I just decided I didn’t want it anymore and walked away.

We laughed. A lot.

After recovering my stroller we headed to checkout and I ended up buying…

Christmas pillow covers {they’re wearing wooden shoes and I’m Dutch dontcha know!}

new dinner plates {I’ll show you later}

Now, I officially love IKEA along with the rest of the blogging world.
