Juggling Act

Kennedy has had a fever since Sunday night. Aside from the fever, she’s fine… acting normal, eating, drinking, terrorizing the dogs etc. The doctor said to wait it out… so we’re waiting it out.

She can’t go to daycare with a temp higher than 100 so I worked from home Monday and stayed with her. Tuesday, David stayed home with her and made it an office day. Today, we both needed to get stuff done so she came to work with me this morning and he’s picking her up after lunch.

Iā€™m a twenty-something wannabe city girl living in Tallahassee, FL with my husband and high school sweetheart, David, and our girls, Kennedy and Reese. I'm a financial analyst, much better with numbers than words, but this is my attempt at recording this wonderful, crazy life of ours.

  1. I am so sorry to hear about her being sick, but happy to see her smiling. There is nothing worse than a sick baby other than a crying sick baby. It is awful when they just cry and you are doing all you can to help them and it just isn’y enough. I wish her all the best with this fever.
