My Mother’s Day

Funny thing… Last year I was pregnant for Mother’s Day {totally counts}, this year I have a baby and I’m pregnant, and next year I’ll have 2 babies. That’s bordering on Duggar status right there…

Anyways… we’re not big into the “hallmark” holidays around our house. All I asked David for was to sleep in {we had church so I was still up before 8} and all I really wanted was to hang out with my family. David did pick up donuts and coffee so not cooking in the morning was awesome, too.

It was uneventful and relaxing. My mom was here for the weekend so we got to spend the day together and that night my sister came over and watched Kennedy while David and I grabbed dinner, went for a walk, and stopped at Walmart for bananas {Kennedy eats one pretty much every morning}.

A pretty normal day all things considered. It’s good to be a mommy ❤

    1. I hope you had a great Mother’s Day, too! I was actually planning to email you because that video your husband made was the sweetest thing ever!

  1. What a great picture of you both. Great chuckle about the Duggars. My 2 daughters are 12 months and 5 days apart. Yikes it was work but I really loved it and would do it again, they were and still are so close.
